Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Judy Barbour. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to adults in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to adults in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Support clients with physical disabilities, including mobility and transfer assistance.
  • Administer medications and provide medication reminders.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients.
  • Assist with exercise and physical activity, such as walking and stretching.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Reliability, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid criminal record check and reference required.
