Senior Third Party Risk Manager

At MUFG Investor Services, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Third Party Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Third Party Management function, you will play a critical role in maintaining and implementing our Third Party Management governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the group Third Party Management governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and performing ongoing reviews of its effectiveness in identifying, reducing, controlling, and reporting key Third Party Management risks.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Operational Risk, and internal/external audit teams to meet group and regulatory requirements, ensuring that third-party risk management and Third Party Management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards.
- Act as a point of contact for Third Party Management-related queries, providing guidance and training in line with third-party management policy, procedures, and regulations to internal clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee, advise, and support all parties in the performance of ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of Third Party engagements, including outsourcing arrangements, on-site inspections, and assessments of proposed new engagements.
- Identify third-party management issues and risk trends, with attention to outsourcing regulatory requirements, and agree on remedial action and best practices.
- Assist in maintaining the group records of Third Party Providers and Outsourcing Registers, drafting and distributing documentation for the completion of assessments, ongoing monitoring, and periodic reviews.
- Continuously look to automate and develop third-party management processes for efficient completion of third-party management governance.
- Assist in reporting to the Outsourcing and Risk Committees, the Boards of all outsourced service receivers, and MUTB on the third-party management governance framework.
- Prepare and deliver client due diligence presentations as directed, participating in client due diligence, RFPs, or external third-party provider assessments as required.
- Manage, support, and train other members of the Third Party Management team as necessary.
- Primary level degree in law, business, finance, or a relevant professional qualification.
- Prior experience in in-house legal practice, third-party management, risk, or compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBi, and other data analysis tools an asset.
