We are looking for a dedicated, meticulous, and analytical professional to fill the role of Management Information Systems Coordinator. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in Finance and familiarity with the CIHI Management Information Systems Framework.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Management Information Systems Coordinator or Finance-related position. A strong background in financial and accounting practices is essential. You should enjoy problem-solving and conducting root cause analyses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new IT systems are also required.

  1. A degree in Finance or Information Management, or a relevant college diploma with applicable experience.
  2. At least three years of relevant experience, including work with CIHI.
  3. Consistent attendance and reliability in the workplace.
  4. Capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
  5. A solid work history.
  6. Advanced written and spoken English proficiency is necessary.
  7. Preference may be given to candidates from the local area.

Key Responsibilities

The Management Information Systems Coordinator will be tasked with:

  1. Maintaining the integrity of the Management Information System through audits and rectifying non-compliance issues.
  2. Developing data collection methods and conducting quality audits for stakeholders.
  3. Providing clinical, financial, administrative, and utilization data to facilitate informed decision-making.
  4. Analyzing data to offer decision support to the organization.
  5. Coordinating and compiling ad-hoc, quarterly, and annual performance reports, including variance analyses.
  6. Creating and delivering training sessions and informational resources related to the MIS System and Standards.
  7. Suggesting enhancements and further development of the MIS to the Provincial MIS Coordinator for inclusion in CIHI technical discussions.
  8. Supporting provincial MIS initiatives.
