Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at 1112707 BC Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing insights into warehouse performance and suggesting areas for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff in duties and policies, as well as co-ordinate, assign, and review work.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient inventory control.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including transportation and shipping.
Requirements
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, 5-10 people, or shippers and receivers.
  • Travel and Transportation: Willing to travel, with public transportation available.
  • Physical Demands: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs), up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, with a permanent position and 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
