Accounting Bookkeeper Job Description

RCC Group Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

The Accounting Bookkeeper will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
