Food Service Operations Manager

Kajun Chicken & Seafood is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Support for Youths:We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. As a Food Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace is inclusive and supportive of young people.
Support for Indigenous People:We are committed to developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations. As a Food Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
Work Term:This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
