About the Role

POMELO HAT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cafeteria Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our cafeteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Operations Management
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position is physically demanding.
