- Oversee technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and fellow engineers
- Prepare cost and time estimates, reports, and design specifications
- Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
- Supervise and evaluate the installation and functioning of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
- Establish maintenance and operational standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
- Investigate failures in electrical or electronic systems
- Conduct simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration for new electronic devices and products
- Set up and utilize specialized and standard testing equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
- Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware
- Utilize network traffic and security monitoring software, optimizing server performance
- Operate control panel switches
- Assist with the installation, assembly, and repair of equipment
- Manage a team of 3-4 individuals
