Job Title: Guest Service Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Growth Treasure Cove Resort Ltd.

Job Summary

The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account the specific needs of each group.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local points of interest.
  • Exchange foreign currency and process guests' departures, calculating charges and receiving payments.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
Work Setting

The Guest Service Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a high level of customer interaction. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
