Join Our Team as a Diesel Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team at Bayview Trucks - Fredericton. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, power trains, electrical systems, and other critical components.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Identify and order necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct road tests to verify repair resolutions and ensure vehicles are safe for operation.
  • Document all work performed, including technical reports and repair orders.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a College certification in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment Service Technician (minimum Block 3 completion).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, in accordance with provincial workplace health and safety standards.
  • Valid driver's abstract and clean criminal record check.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work in Windows-based software.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a service environment.
