Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ski and Snowboard Instructor to join our team at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. As a key member of our Snow School, you will be responsible for teaching ski and snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach ski and snowboard lessons in Mountain Kids, Adult Snow School, and Group Lesson programs
  • Maintain coaches' logs and reports for seasonal programs
  • Set up outdoor terrain signage and interactive learning areas
  • Act as an ambassador for Mount Washington and the industry as a whole
  • Assist in other department operations, such as Rentals, Sales, and Events, as required
  • Operate magic carpets (surface lifts)
  • Attend daily meetings and check-ins
  • Participate in regular coaching sessions to improve skills and achieve certification
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 1 CSIA/CASI certification or foreign equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Required to provide a valid criminal record check
  • Foreign staff must hold their own valid work permit
  • Previous experience working with children is an asset
