Computer Network Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Safewatch Live Monitoring Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate access and use of computer networks to ensure efficient data transfer and communication.
- Install and configure software, hardware, and operating system software to meet business needs.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Monitor system performance and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures and maintain control records.
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
- Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure optimal system performance.
- Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines.
- Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and designers.
- Supervise technical staff and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
