Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & T Hospitality Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and efficiently.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure is essential.
