About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Special Needs to join our team at One Care Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with special needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of individuals with special needs
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support and Accommodation
    • Provide individualized support to individuals with special needs, promoting independence and self-advocacy
    • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and care
    • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices
  • Language and Cultural Competence
    • Support individuals with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
    • Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of individuals with special needs
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as special education, psychology, or social work
  • Experience
    • 2 years of experience working with individuals with special needs, preferably in a educational or support setting
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
