Job Title: Courier Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier Van Driver to join our team at VC Courier Service Inc.

Job Summary

The Courier Van Driver will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, receiving and relaying information to central dispatch, and keeping a record of items received and delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • Operate Vehicles: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered.
  • Sorting: Sort packages for delivery.
  • Navigation: Follow directions and read map.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Fast-paced environment.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and punctual.
Work Environment
