About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer Consultant to join our team at the Child Development Institute (CDI). As a key member of our Implementation team, you will play a crucial role in the successful launch and delivery of our SNAP Youth Justice program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training sessions to Affiliate sites, ensuring a high level of understanding and proficiency in the SNAP program.
  • Nurture ongoing success by providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to Affiliate sites, ensuring alignment with program requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, consultation, and community-related communications using the SNAP Implementation Tool.
  • Support Affiliate Sites' quality assurance activities, including monitoring program integrity and accreditation activities in consultation with the manager, research, and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering individual and group evidence-based cognitive-behavioural multi-modal programming, working with high-risk children and youth, and applying gender-sensitive approaches.
  • Strong understanding of the youth justice system, facilities, services, and governing compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and nurture trusting relationships with program sponsors, providers, and participants.
  • Ability to work in a highly distractible environment, handling interruptions and refocusing as needed.
