About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Z-teca Gourmet Burritos. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development and Implementation

Develop and implement new menu items and promotions to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Inventory Management

Oversee the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of supplies and ingredients.

Staff Management

Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.

Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to complaints and concerns.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices for food and other supplies.

Financial Management

Oversee the financial management of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Support for Diverse Groups
  • Accessibility

Provide awareness training to staff to create a welcoming environment for customers with disabilities.

Cross-Cultural Training

Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to staff to create a welcoming environment for newcomers and refugees.

Youth Support

Provide awareness training to staff to create a welcoming environment for youth.

Indigenous Support

Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to staff to create a welcoming environment for Indigenous workers.
