**Job Title:** Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices for IT Service Management, including Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Configuration Management.
- Manage and maintain middleware applications, including WebSphere, Oracle 19c, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Develop and implement reports and data visualizations using Power BI and other tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains secure and efficient.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in ITIL Service Management, with a focus on Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
- Experience with middleware applications, including WebSphere, Oracle 19c, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including cloud computing solutions and concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with IT service management tools, including Remedy/eSMT and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a public sector environment, preferably in the BPS or other government.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts and tools, including Jenkins and Ansible.
- Experience with cloud-based computing solutions and concepts.
- General exposure to network topologies, including firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
