Support Professional

SCE LifeWorks is a leading organization in providing support services for adults with intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an individual who can provide community-based support for a woman who lives with a disability. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing individualized support and assistance with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Assist with community integration, including accompanying the individual to appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual.
- Collaborate with other support staff and professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities or traumatic brain injury is an asset.
- A vehicle is required for this position, with work kilometers reimbursed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
What We Offer:
SCE LifeWorks offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.04, paid for 8 hours when working a 7-hour shift. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
