About the Role

As a key member of the CPKC team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through strategic marketing and pricing initiatives. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional with a passion for developing and implementing business plans that drive results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development

Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Develop and implement strategic business plans to maximize revenue and market share.

Pricing and Revenue Management

Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions.

Contract Management and Negotiation

Lead the management of contracts and negotiate with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions. Develop and implement contract renewal strategies to ensure long-term revenue growth.

Business Development and Growth

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business development initiatives and drive revenue growth.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

Develop and track key performance metrics to measure business success. Provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, business, or a related field.

Experience

5+ years of marketing and pricing experience within the transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.

Skills

Strong analytical and research skills to support market understandings, trend analysis, emerging issues, and competitive dynamics. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills to support analytics and revenue plan and variance processes.

Travel

Valid passport and ability to travel occasionally across the US/Canada border.
