About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Sushi Modo. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and packaging of food items.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with food and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and ingredients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week.
