Role Overview: As a key member of the Pride Bodies Ltd. team, you will oversee a group of Assemblers, collaborating closely with fellow Supervisors and the Production Manager to fulfill customer needs and requirements.

  • Drive production outcomes by clearly communicating job expectations, planning, assigning tasks, evaluating job performance, and coaching team members.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by engaging with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, and Production.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma is mandatory.
  • Relevant training and certification in industrial production or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with essential troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable resource for team members, particularly in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Capability to establish and follow production processes; adept at reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Good reasoning skills to execute instructions in various formats.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is an asset.

Daily Activities:

  • Monitor attendance and vacation schedules on a daily basis.
  • Inspire team members to meet production goals and objectives.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee production processes to optimize efficiency; participate in meetings to relay detailed production updates to management.
  • Educate team members on company policies, procedures, and quality standards, ensuring compliance.
  • Organize training materials and manuals for the production team.
  • Prepare accurate reports as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new personnel.
  • Collaborate with other department supervisors and provide coverage as necessary to meet production demands.
  • Be available for overtime as required to fulfill production schedules.
  • May be assigned additional duties outside of primary responsibilities, with appropriate training provided.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Occasionally, the employee may need to sit. The role may involve lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.

Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection are mandatory throughout the shift.
