Job Overview

As a Station Chef at Aramark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the innovation and execution of solutions in our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop menus that meet the Executional Framework standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure consistent standards and techniques are applied to the preparation and presentation of food items.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and train kitchen employees to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentorship: Mentor employees to craft a shared understanding of goals and objectives, and provide guidance on achieving them.
  • Daily Operations: Plan and implement daily huddles to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Staff Management: Complete and maintain all staff records, including training records, shift opening/closing checklists, and performance data.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport to drive mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Market Insights: Communicate on-site consumer and local competitor insights to inform menu development and operations.
  • Performance Metrics: Deliver food and labor targets while maintaining full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals.
  • Supply Chain Management: Understand end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes, ensuring only authorized suppliers are used.
  • Food Framework: Have full knowledge and implementation of the Food Framework to drive menu development and operations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate accurate food consumption for requisitions and/or food purchases.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure correct equipment operation and maintenance to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Aramark SAFE food, occupational, and environmental safety policies in all culinary and kitchen operations.
  • Policies and Regulations: Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including those related to safety, health, wages, and hours.
Requirements
  • Requires at least 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Requires 0-2 years' experience in a management role.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
