Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ministry-funded physiotherapy services in clients' homes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments using various techniques, focusing on geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and palliative care.
  • Collaborate with clients and caregivers to create and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Supervise physiotherapy assistants as necessary and ensure quality care.
  • Educate clients and caregivers, connecting them with community resources as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in community settings is preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage scheduling effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Reliable transportation is essential for this role.
