Financial Analyst Job Description

VAL/MAR Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating financial risk, analyzing investment information, and providing investment advice to clients and senior company officials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate financial risk and provide recommendations to mitigate potential losses.
  • Analyze financial and investment information to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare company, industry, and economic outlooks, analytical reports, and briefings notes.
  • Provide investment advice and recommendations to clients and senior company officials.
  • Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets, and plan short- and long-term cash flows.
  • Develop risk management plans and perform variance analysis.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Computer and Technology Knowledge:
  • Data analysis software.
  • MS Excel.
  • MS Office.
  • Information technology.
  • MS PowerPoint.
  • Database software.
  • Accounting software.
