About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Figurr Architects Collective. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed specifications for interior design projects
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment to create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes, and materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
  • Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications, and building codes
  • Collaborate with architects or other professionals in multidisciplinary urban design studies
Requirements
  • Interior designer technical certificate
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including ARCHICAD, 3D graphic software, and Autodesk REVIT
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
