Job Summary

The Dietetic Technician is a key member of our team at CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, responsible for providing exceptional nutrition services to our clients. As a Dietetic Technician, you will be working closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans, ensuring our clients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nutrition plans for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide education to clients and their families
  • Manage food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation
  • Supervise and train other staff members in nutrition services and food safety protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services

Requirements

  • Diploma in Dietetics from a recognized college or university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of nutrition principles and practices, as well as food safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate: $24.21 - $32.32
  • Four weeks of paid vacation after one year of service
