Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Smart Kitchen Tech Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, planning menus, and preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and plan menus to ensure seamless execution
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high level of service and quality
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude
