We are passionate about creating a unique and fresh food shopping experience, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Order Fulfillment Specialist.

Job Summary

The Order Fulfillment Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of products to our retail stores. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment
    • Accurately pick orders using a scanner system and provide training to new employees on the scanning system.
    • Assemble orders for delivery and ensure that orders have proper documentation and are stacked in proper order.
  • Inventory Management
    • Perform daily inventory counts by warehouse break.
    • Ensure that product is properly rotated to maintain quality and freshness.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Warehouse Maintenance
    • Maintain receiving equipment, receiving area, cooler and storage facilities in a safe, clean and organized fashion.
    • Dispose of collected garbage immediately.
  • Health and Safety
    • Comply with all health and safety standards and procedures, especially as they relate to equipment use and customer safety.

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience considered an asset.
  • Experience operating scanners and motorized equipment, including ride-on pallet jacks, walkie equipment, and order pickers.
  • Ability to work from directives with little supervision.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • Superior standards of cleanliness.
  • Must be flexible in regards to availability and scheduling.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in both official languages shall be considered an asset.

Work Environment

The Order Fulfillment Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with unavoidable exposure to noise, dirt, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures. The position may require wearing cumbersome protective clothing or equipment, and lifting, carrying, or handling heavy objects.
