Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pre-Board Screening Officer. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen the travelling public and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area.
  • Ensure that all individuals and their belongings meet the necessary security protocols and regulations.
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations.
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and provide support to colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance).
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be located near Goose Bay or willing to relocate before starting.
