Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Autograph Collection/Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Restock and replenish supplies as needed, including toiletries, towels, and linens.
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner, including delivering items to guest rooms and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the housekeeping cart and storage areas.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in housekeeping and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different floors of the hotel on a timely basis.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
