Job Summary

As a Slot Attendant at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests while ensuring a seamless gaming experience. This role requires a high level of enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer service by circulating the gaming floor and assisting guests with their needs.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient slot hand-pay disbursements.
  • Complete slot machine paper fills and bill exchanges in a timely manner.
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs to slot machines to minimize downtime.
  • Offer instruction and guidance to guests on slot play and game rules.
  • Assist guests with general inquiries and provide directions as needed.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure slot machines are functioning properly and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Monitor slot machine activity to ensure compliance with approved rules of play.
  • Work in accordance with AGCO regulations and company policies.
  • Report any observations of illegal activity or internal ethics violations to management promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash.
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to a fast-paced shift work schedule.
  • Registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the AGCO.
  • Age 19 years or older.


Working Conditions

The working conditions are typical of an indoor, climate-controlled office environment. However, you will be exposed to casino-related factors such as excessive noise, large crowds, and stress related to servicing guests in a high-pressure environment. You must be able to stand for an entire shift and move throughout the casino and hotel areas.
