About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of the restaurant.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Ability to train and develop staff.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
