Job Summary

Hisar Plumbing and Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Pipe Fitting and Connection: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and ensure that all plumbing systems are functioning properly.
  • Estimation and Material Management: Estimate costs and materials required for plumbing projects, and manage inventory of pipes, fittings, and other materials.
  • Measurement and Fabrication: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Environmental Sustainability: Participate in initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and reduce the company's carbon footprint.
  • Employee Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to colleagues, including support for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plumbing or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
