About the Role

As a Security Officer with GardaWorld, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, tenants, and visitors in a healthcare setting. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a secure environment, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mobile parking patrols as per post orders and instructions from the supervisor
  • Provide traffic control and work collaboratively with the onsite supervisor
  • Escort visitors and issue passes for authorized areas
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring all doors are closed and vacant areas have lights off
  • Respond to incidents, including assisting EMS, Fire Watch, and chemical spills
  • Perform vehicle inspections at the start and end of each shift
  • Document and report issues using electronic devices
  • Adhere to all company standards and site orders
Requirements
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
  • Fluent in English, both written and orally
  • 1-2 years of experience as a security guard in customer-facing roles
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
