Bilingual Disability Case Manager

Sun Life is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Disability Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Group Disability team, you will play a critical role in managing disability claims to resolution, ensuring timely recovery and return to work for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Determine eligibility for short and long-term disability, salary continuance benefits, and assess claims
- Implement effective interventions to support timely recovery and return to work
- Build strong relationships with clients, employers, and employees
- Lead clients during the absence and return to work period
- Drive telephone interviews to gather information and ensure complete understanding of the absence and support required
- Identify and assess medical and non-medical influencing factors, functional capability, restrictions, and limitations
- All post-secondary degrees are welcome
- Bilingualism (French and English, both oral and written) is required to communicate with clients across Canada and worldwide
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with expertise in complex claims and contracts
- Proactive and innovative, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
