Fairmont Gold Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fairmont Gold Supervisor to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a key member of our luxury hotel team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, cared for, and incredible.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Experience: Demonstrate a commitment to providing warm, anticipated service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests by providing a personalized curated guest experience.
- Front Desk Duties: Perform all front desk duties, including accurately posting all charges, assisting with check-in/out procedures, auditing, and reporting.
- Reservations Management: Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure accuracy and that all standards are met.
- Concierge Services: Provide exceptional concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, and other available services/excursions.
- Shift Work: Be available for shift work, including weekends, mornings, and evenings.
- Guest Arrival and Departure: Ensure the arrival and departure experience of all guests is seamless through coordination of our market mix and VIPs.
- Service Recovery: Empower colleagues to appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recovery.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous Front Desk supervisory experience in a large hotel, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Skills: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, excellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager, word, and excel, previous working experience in Royal Service and/or dealing with guest recovery with excellent recovery.
- Education: Graduate of Hotel Management or Hospitality program, an asset.
- Personal Qualities: Highly organized, innovative, and results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment, excellent written and verbal skills, solutions-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving techniques.
