Job Title: Underground Mine Production Supervisor

Thoar Mining Management Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Underground Mine Production Supervisor to join our team at a Potash mine site in Saskatchewan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently managing day-to-day project activities, supervising personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely manage and direct personnel to ensure efficient project execution
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain safety and environmental standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production and safety performance
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and address operational problems
  • Manage performance issues and provide timely feedback to employees
  • Develop and coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent

Requirements:

  • Valid ticket to supervise underground as per Saskatchewan mine regulations
  • Valid GMSA - General Mine Safety Awareness training
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificates
  • Valid WHMIS and SCOT
  • Minimum five years mining operations experience
  • Outstanding record of leading teams safely and efficiently
