Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Project Foreman and the Senior Electrical Foreman, the Electrical Apprentice will collaborate with the Projects team to fulfill the requirements set by both internal and external clients on a contractual basis. There may be potential for a full-time, permanent position or an extension of the contract duration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively interpret technical drawings and schematics to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems;
  • Travel to various commercial and industrial client locations;
  • Proactively identify risks and formulate strategies to comply with safety standards;
  • Assist Journeyperson Electricians in their tasks;
  • Complete all necessary documentation as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate has successfully completed their first year of the Electrical Apprenticeship program and possesses experience in commercial or industrial environments. You are eager to develop and progress your career as an Electrician through practical experience and mentorship. You are recognized as a person of integrity who is willing to go above and beyond, motivated by the chance to explore new challenges, troubleshoot issues, and devise tailored solutions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Completion of the second year of the Electrical Apprenticeship;
  • Possession of personal hand tools and appropriate footwear;
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation;
  • Experience in industrial or commercial services is advantageous.

  • Compensation: $19.35-$34.53 per hour
