Job Title: Corporate Director, Data Management

At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Director, Data Management to join our team. This is a temporary (fixed term) position that will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective governance and control of Administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of governance and control frameworks for Administration.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including SOX testing and RCSAs.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to Administration, including building a horizontal dashboard of controls and deficiencies.
  • Manage a team of 3 direct reports and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Administration Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective business controls are in place.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in governance and risk management, with a focus on Administration.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes of issues.
  • Knowledge of CIBC's Control Framework and SOX testing procedures.
