About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at APTECH PRECISION MACHINING INC. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specifications.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Conduct inspections and maintain records to ensure quality control.
  • Verify dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • Certifications: Required certifications.
