Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Tandoori Flavour Indian Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our food service staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Develop and manage budgets, as well as prepare reports to track key performance indicators.
- Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare Food Order Summaries: Compile and submit detailed summaries of food orders to our chef, ensuring accurate and timely preparation.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres and be able to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Tray and Trolley Supervision: Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
