Cuso International is seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Knowledge Management Advisor to join our team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

As a key member of our team, you will support the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in Ethiopia in the areas of business development, knowledge management, communication, and project/program report writing.

You will also provide training for related project staff to enhance the organization's capacity through developing internal and external communication strategic documents and transferring skilled knowledge to the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a low-carbon economy in Ethiopia and make a meaningful impact on the lives of marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document lessons learned from past and ongoing projects to identify funding opportunities and support the country team in proposal development.
  • Support the development of project reports using lessons learned from green growth projects implemented by the country office and its partners.
  • Develop knowledge management strategies, products, and methodologies on climate action for GGGI Ethiopia.
  • Support quality control and brand management of country office communications and publications.
  • Design communication strategies to enhance the visibility of GGGI Ethiopia.
  • Conduct training for project managers and technical teams on communication, knowledge product development, and knowledge management.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business management, international relations, development economics, international development, knowledge management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of practical experience in an international development organization in business development and knowledge management.
  • Strong experience developing funding proposals.
  • Strong experience collaborating with international development organizations and donors.
  • Experience building effective partnerships.
  • Experience in knowledge sharing and capacity development.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge management and knowledge product development experience.

This partnership contributes to GGGI Ethiopia's efforts to effectively support the government of Ethiopia in transitioning to low-carbon economic development.

This is accomplished through the integration of economic, institutional, technological, and social changes.
