Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at HFX FOODHUB INC. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food products.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Accessibility: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Cross-Cultural Training: Offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and visible minorities.
- Youth and Veteran Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and veterans.
