Payroll Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to assist the Contact Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new employee files/records and submit to the Contract Manager for approval.
- Calculate driver/staff payroll and input payroll information into the computer for processing.
- Accurately track attendance for permanent part-time employees and maintain a driver seniority list.
- Answer customer inquiries, distribute mail, and maintain office supplies.
- Assist in tracking OT and verifying standard hours to reduce unnecessary driver hours.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and is a self-starter.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
