Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at SE Health. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, nursing homes, and other community settings.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping. Additionally, you will provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Administer medications, as required
  • Document client care and progress
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a personal support worker role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and transferring clients
