Your Role: Lead Fraud Risk Mitigation Strategies

As a Fraud Risk Management Director, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our customers and assets. You'll lead a team of talented analysts, overseeing their efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate fraud risks across various banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of 5 direct reports specializing in card-related fraud prevention (Credit and Debit).
  • Oversee the development and refinement of fraud prevention models, ensuring their effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with your team to design and implement innovative strategies for fraud detection and prevention.
  • Support operational teams by providing expert guidance on fraud mitigation best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to quantify the impact of proposed process improvements and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and execute initiatives aimed at reducing financial losses associated with banking fraud.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Risk Management sector by providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in data visualization techniques (SAS, PowerBI, SQL, Python).
  • Demonstrated experience in management and team leadership.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on problem-solving and delivering exceptional results.
  • Experience in combating financial crime and understanding industry best practices.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
