About the Role

F.G. Cares Cleaning Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with other operational activities.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our cleaning staff are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Work Setting: Office building, cleaning service company, commercial facility
  • Tasks: Hire and train staff, supervise and coordinate activities, inspect sites and facilities, recommend additional services, coordinate with other departments, establish work schedules
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, light duty cleaners
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, team player
