Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Analyst to join our team at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective provision of business expertise and support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our financial applications, tools, and business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of changes to our financial system, including user requirements, functional process design, and testing.
  • Understand the data used by financial systems to help build models and reports for our business partners.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to ensure the highest level of data accuracy and integrity, and ensure adequate testing procedures are carried out.
  • Provide technical expertise on statistical reporting tools and applications, and identify opportunities for automation of functions/processes.
  • Maintain appropriate functional business system documentation and process controls.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in a related field such as Finance, computer science, business administration, or commerce.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in using or overseeing changes to ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365FO), or within a financial or reporting position.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Strong experience with spreadsheets, data analysis, or statistical tools (Excel, SAS, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Project management skills acquired through the management of small to medium-sized projects.
  • A Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation.
  • Microsoft certifications for Azure/D365.
