About the Role

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and adherence to Fairmont brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional service and high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the Housekeeping and Laundry departments
  • Collaborate with the Director of Housekeeping to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as Fairmont's vehicle handling and safety policies
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and development
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • 3 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a 4 or 5-star property
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Valid Alberta driver's license required
  • Computer literacy in Property Manager, Excel, and Word
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Hotel Management an asset
